The Outpost Nigeria Newspaper is an independent digital newspaper reporting on Nigeria for Nigerians at home, the diaspora and international readers who need to understand Africa’s most populous country.
Our mission
To hold power to account, explain the forces shaping Nigerian lives, and give every reader the facts they need to make decisions — with fairness, accuracy and independence.
What we cover
Politics, the economy, business, education, agriculture, opinion and entertainment, from our newsroom in Abuja and correspondents across the six geopolitical zones.
Independence
We are funded by our readers and advertisers. No owner, advertiser or government influences our editorial decisions. Advertising and sponsored content are always clearly labelled.
